Hey there everyone,
I have decided to organize, in co-operation with the City of Brampton, a rollerblading competition at the DMG Chinguacousy Skatepark in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.
This will be a competition for everyone – there are intermediate and advanced levels and everyone is encouraged to participate. The competition will be free to enter, and prizes will be donated by a list of generous sponsors.
The park has recently been built, and is set to open in early May. Check back for more updates with a video added to the media section.
I can’t wait for this event, it’s going to be so much fun for everyone.
For all the information check out daveghent.com/bramptonpark
And check out this promo video we made, where you can get a better idea of how awesome this park is.

As some of you know, Olli is a German native who came to Toronto last summer. He lived here for the summer while on an internship with Siemens and during this time he showed us all so much love. He always came out to the TNS (thursday night sessions) with a smile on his face and skated hard. He impressed us with his skill and motivation. He was the main reason for the connection with Hey Dude videomagazine in Europe and our Toronto Section in the next issue (which didn’t get premiered at Winterclash but should be on the way some time soon).
One day while after we skated at Waterdown Skatepark, we all went across the street to grab some food and sit down for a beer. There were some ladies at the next table, but no one had the balls to talk to them. So Olli, being the fearless dude that he is, said,”I’ll go and talk to them, but I want to be a member of the Mobb in return”. The original deal was for him to get drunk with us for induction, but we agreed that this would do. So there he went pretending he didn’t speak much english and chatted with them without hesitation. He said something else that made me laugh, but I can’t remember exactly what it was.
There are so many more things to say about this guy. He is now a lifelong friend of mine, and I will always value his friendship. I’ll just leave it at that. Enjoy your spot on our Mobblog banner Olli, you deserve it.

Collin went to the newly constructed Brampton skatepark to take some photos. I skated there for all of 3 minutes before getting kicked out…but it was worth it. This park is going to be so much fun.
